Welcome to the home page of the ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model (APDM). This site contains all available information describing the APDM.

The ArcGIS Pipeline Data Model is designed for storing information pertaining to features and conditions found on or along gathering and transmission gas and/or liquid pipelines. The APDM was expressly designed for implementation as an ESRI Geodatabase for use with ESRI‘s ArcGIS Desktop ® and ArcGIS for Server ® products. A Geodatabase is an object-relational construct for storing and managing geographic data as features within an industry-standard relational database management system (RDBMS). APDM Versions 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0 and supporting documentation can be downloaded by anyone from this site.

The APDM is now in Version 6.0. APDM has been in existence as a published Pipeline data model since July 2001. The APDM continues to evolve with the guidance of ESRI and the ESRI Pipeline user community under the auspices of the ESRI Petroleum and Pipeline User Groups (PUG).

All APDM Notifications and Updates are distributed through the APDM Linked-In Forum.
